Booking Holdings is seeking a Senior Accountant for Financial Reporting to play a crucial role in the Finance Transformation initiative aimed at enhancing finance and accounting support for business management. This position is integral to ensuring the integrity of financial data and delivering comprehensive reporting and analytics to both internal and external stakeholders. The Senior Accountant will report to the Senior Manager of Global Consolidation and Reporting and will be responsible for the collection, consolidation, and delivery of consolidated financial information. This role will involve significant interaction with global entities and corporate personnel, as well as internal and external auditors, ensuring that financial statements are accurate and compliant with US GAAP and SEC requirements. In this role, the Senior Accountant will support the global consolidation process using OneStream, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, including topside entries and intercompany eliminations. The position requires timely preparation and delivery of quarterly and annual financial statements, as well as the monthly and quarterly management reporting package, which includes balance sheet and income statement analytics. The Senior Accountant will also assist in preparing the Consolidated Statement of Cash Flows and related analyses, leveraging OneStream to enhance and automate reporting processes. Continuous evaluation of opportunities to improve data quality and process efficiency will be a key focus, along with overseeing the validation and distribution of monthly corporate foreign currency rates. The role also involves conducting reviews of Brand's monthly financial reporting packages, creating standard analyses to understand changes in financial statements, and partnering with the External Reporting team to prepare and validate financial statements and footnotes for inclusion in the 10-Q and 10-K filings. The Senior Accountant will maintain and review the chart of accounts across subsidiaries to ensure consistency in financial reporting and will establish strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate information flow and collaboration. Additionally, the role requires ensuring that key internal controls are functioning as designed and preparing documentation in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. The Senior Accountant will also assist with special projects requiring analytical skills and knowledge of systems and processes related to business acquisitions and financial systems implementations.
