Join our External Financial Reporting team as a Senior Analyst and play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality SEC filings and financial disclosures for a global media leader. You’ll work on complex reporting areas like cash flows, equity, and EPS, collaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams, and assist in spearheading process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
CPA (or actively pursuing certification).
Knowledge of general accounting practices and financial accounting standards.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K), including drafting footnote disclosures, select MD&A sections, and compiling supporting analytics.
Prepare and analyze consolidated statements of cash flows and stockholders’ equity
Responsible for earnings per share calculation and share reconciliations.
Perform detailed reviews and tie-outs for accuracy of filings, earnings releases, trending schedules, and other investor communications.
Develop financial statement analysis and presentation materials for senior management and Audit Committee meetings.
Document quarterly review procedures and support various P&L analyses and ad hoc requests.
Ensure compliance with SOX controls over financial reporting.
Manage external audit relationships, including responding to requests and addressing inquiries.
Support the implementation and enhancement of reporting systems and tools in collaboration with Controllership and IT teams.
Utilize Workiva for SEC filings, disclosure data gathering, and XBRL review.
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performance environment focused on accuracy and continuous improvement.
