About The Position
Cordia Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong experience in government contracting . This role will play a key part in supporting the accounting function, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Government contracting experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Costpoint accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and FAR/DFARS compliance
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Lead and support month-end close processes
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Support DCAA audits and incurred cost submissions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies
