Responsibilities We are looking for candidates local to the Columbus Ohio area, interested in working at our brand-new headquarters! The position of Consolidation Senior Accountant will be responsible for various accounting, reporting, analysis, master data maintenance, and SOX compliance of the businesses, with an emphasis on intercompany accounting/reporting. This individual will work closely with the Ohio based corporate accounting team and the various business units across the ADS network. This role will report directly to the Columbus, Ohio based Consolidation Accounting Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 3+ years practical work experience
  • Oracle and/or FCCS experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong technical skills including knowledge of GAAP
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
  • Ability to understand issues, demonstrate resourcefulness and pro-actively resolve problems and manage multiple projects in a timely manner
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills to research and resolve inquiries and respond in a timely manner
  • Able to handle confidential information in a mature manner
  • Solid organizational skills: task prioritization and effective time management
  • Mid- to advanced PC skills using Outlook, Word, Excel (ability to perform pivots, V-lookups and other functions with Excel)

Nice To Haves

  • CPA preferred
  • Oracle and/or FCCS experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the maintenance of the Oracle FCCS consolidation system (chart of accounts, master data, consolidation jobs, ect.)
  • Prepare monthly consolidation journal entries
  • Perform various monthly account reconciliations, investigate intercompany out of balances, and review intercompany eliminations
  • Assist in preparation of various internal and external financial reports (consolidating EBITDA bridges, segment reporting, statement of cash flows, ect.)
  • Collaborate across assorted business functions (finance, accounting, sales, operations, HR, etc.) providing insights with ad‐hoc analysis
  • Support ongoing efforts focused on streamlining, improving, and automating processes
  • Ensure SOX compliance by adhering to internal control requirements, maintaining updated documentation and providing recommendations as appropriate
