About The Position

EMPI Inc. has proudly served the air-cooled VW and Porsche community for nearly 70 years, and we are looking for a passionate, skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Account Specialist. If you have a strong background in aftermarket auto parts and accessories sales and a genuine enthusiasm for classic air-cooled VW and Porsche vehicles, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing client data, tracking sales, and generating reports.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the classic VW and Porsche aftermarket industry, with a proven track record in sales and account management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts while consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience in developing and motivating sales teams to achieve targets.
  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual, with a solution-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Highly motivated, driven to succeed, and eager to contribute to company growth.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual skills are a plus! Fluency in additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, or Danish is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in developing strategic account plans and managing key customer relationships at a senior level.
  • Experience in implementing and utilizing CRM systems to drive sales performance and efficiency.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments, contributing to product development, marketing strategies, and sales growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets while managing key accounts, including global VW and Porsche specialty shops.
  • Build, nurture, and strengthen relationships with both new and existing clients, ensuring long-term success and customer satisfaction.
  • Introduce and effectively promote new EMPI products, driving both sales and product awareness across various markets.
  • Represent EMPI at industry events and trade shows, engaging customers to enhance relationships, identify new business opportunities, and expand market presence.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and product developments to provide actionable insights to EMPI's pricing, marketing, and product development teams.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth and retention for key global clients.
  • Lead and coach the sales team, providing performance feedback, leadership, and ongoing training to ensure success across the organization.
  • Reinforce the use of sales training tools and ensure the effective implementation of a CRM solution to improve accountability and efficiency across the team.
  • Cultivate a high-performance culture focused on continuous growth, fostering an environment of collaboration and achievement within the sales team.
  • Collaborate with management to assist in the development of new products and strategies to increase inventory turnover and optimize sales efforts.
