About The Position

Movement Strategy is looking for a Senior Account Manager to help lead the day-to-day execution, health, and momentum of a key account. This role partners closely with internal teams across Content & Engagement, Creative, Influencer Marketing, Strategy, Data & Insights, and Project Management to ensure work is delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest level of quality. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, social-first agency environment. A client-facing individual who brings clarity, structure, and calm to complex workflows. The ideal candidate has strong project management instincts, knows how to build and maintain airtight processes, and can proactively anticipate needs, remove blockers, and keep teams aligned. As a trusted partner to both client and internal stakeholders, the Senior Account Manager drives executional excellence while helping to strengthen the relationship, elevate collaboration, and ensure we consistently deliver smart, culturally resonant work.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or advertising.
  • Experience with project management software such as Asana, Airtable, or similar.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of advertising principles, marketing strategies, and social-first content development.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and scope-of-work management.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with social-digital platforms, emerging tech, influencer management, and content production.

Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to bring valuable insights to the team.
  • Develop a deep understanding and eventual contribution to creative, content ideas, paid media, and performance reporting with a strategic lens.
  • Support the development of scopes of work and quarterly/annual business reviews.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships within day-to-day communication and meetings.
  • Participate in social-centric recommendations that will achieve client goals and business objectives to drive campaigns effectively.
  • Support the Pod Lead to uphold the strategic vision, and work in a collaborative and creative manner.
  • You will manage multiple projects within the business unit via Asana, leading internal cross-functional teams throughout project lifecycles, including: social content, campaign development, influencer strategies, event activations, etc. You’ll be responsible for running internal team-status and always knowing where we stand with each project.
  • Collaborates with internal teams (creative, production, media planning) to develop and execute social-first creative content and campaigns.
  • Creating and seeing timelines through is second nature for you, and you’ll continuously look to see where the team can improve in achieving each step in a timely/realistic manner.
  • Productivity: in addition to timelines, you’ll be tasked to execute against a scope of work and budget for your client projects and retainers. Both will require detailed collaboration with other department leads to ensure accuracy in resources and time. Once work is complete, you’ll work with the Account team to report on hours/time spent on each project.
  • Working in collaboration with resource management on budgeting resources and developing staffing plans for projects and client-retainers.
  • Producing necessary contracts and paperwork for partner-vendors and working with finance/operations to ensure payment is processed within the proper budgets
  • Able to identify bottlenecks and provide solutions across departments
