About The Position

Integrated Data Services (IDS) is seeking a Senior Account Manager to serve as the strategic lead for the Department of the Air Force (DAF) account. This role is responsible for owning the customer relationship, driving enterprise adoption, and expanding the impact of the Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT) System and the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) System across Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) organizations and Headquarters Air Force (HAF) stakeholders. This is a mission-critical, customer-facing leadership role focused on ensuring the DAF realizes maximum value from PMRT and CCaR. The Senior Account Manager will shape how senior leaders leverage authoritative, real-time data to make portfolio-level decisions, while positioning IDS as a trusted, long-term partner in modernizing acquisition and financial management across the DAF. The ideal candidate brings deep experience engaging senior Air Force stakeholders, understands systems acquisition and financial management processes, and excels at aligning enterprise software capabilities to mission outcomes. This role is central to driving customer success, adoption, and account growth within one of IDSs most strategic accounts.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage and grow strategic customer relationships with senior executive stakeholders
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence decision-making at the SES/GO level
  • Demonstrated success driving enterprise adoption and customer success for complex software solutions
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into mission-relevant outcomes and decision advantage
  • Strong communication and briefing skills, including executive-level presentations
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder DOW environments
  • Deep understanding of DAF organizations (Secretariat, Air Staff, Space Staff, PAEs and DRPMs)
  • Strong knowledge of DOW systems acquisition, financial management and PPBE processes
  • This position requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in business management, engineering, computer science, economics or other related disciplines
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in DOW systems acquisition or financial management, with strong preference for DAF experience
  • Demonstrated success managing strategic accounts or customer portfolios within defense, federal, or enterprise environments
  • Applicants selected for employment will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet additional eligibility requirements for access to classified information or materials.
  • Active Secret clearance preferred; ability to obtain and maintain required clearance is mandatory.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting enterprise software platforms in acquisition, financial management, or ERP-like environments
  • Familiarity with analytics and decision-support tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, or similar)
  • Understanding of system integrations across acquisition, financial, and contracting systems
  • Prior experience with PMRT, CCaR, or similar systems

Responsibilities

  • Account Leadership & Customer Ownership Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to DAF leadership, including Secretariat, Air Staf, Space Staff, PAEs, DRPMs, resource sponsors, and FM stakeholders
  • Own overall account health, customer satisfaction, and long-term relationship strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across senior leadership and working-level stakeholders
  • Align PMRT and CCaR capabilities to DAF priorities, ensuring clear linkage to mission outcomes and decision advantage
  • Adoption & Value Realization Lead the account strategy to drive enterprise adoption and sustained usage of PMRT and CCaR as authoritative systems
  • Ensure customers fully realize the value of real-time, data-driven portfolio management
  • Partner with delivery teams to remove adoption barriers and accelerate user engagement
  • Champion change management efforts, including stakeholder alignment, communications, and executive-level advocacy
  • Strategic Engagement & Executive Influence Engage directly with senior DAF leadership to shape how PMRT and CCaR support portfolio-level decision making
  • Lead executive briefings, demonstrations, and strategic discussions that clearly articulate mission impact and decision advantage
  • Anticipate customer needs and position IDS solutions to address emerging priorities
  • Support and influence governance, policy alignment, and enterprise-level transformation initiatives
  • Growth & Account Expansion Identify, shape, and drive follow-on opportunities aligned to DAF priorities and enterprise expansion
  • Partner with IDS leadership to develop and execute account growth strategies, expanding PMRT and CCaR adoption across PAEs, adjacent organizations, and unrealized DAF whitespace
  • Position new capabilities, including CCaR AI, to expand mission impact and deepen customer engagement
  • Support capture activities, proposals, and strategic pursuits within the account
  • Cross-Functional Leadership Act as the bridge between the customer and IDS product, and engineering teams
  • Ensure customer priorities, feedback, and operational insights are clearly communicated and acted upon internally
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure solutions align with customer expectations and mission needs
  • Drive internal alignment to support a unified, high-quality customer experience
  • Product Insight & Continuous Improvement Capture customer feedback and operational insights to inform product roadmap and capability evolution
  • Advocate for enhancements that improve usability, adoption, and mission effectiveness
  • Ensure field insights are translated into meaningful product improvements and innovation opportunities
