Rystad Energy is the world’s leading independent research and consulting firm focused on the global energy industry. The candidate will focus on retaining and expanding Rystad’s relationships with existing clients. Candidate must have exceptional account management capabilities, expansion generation skills with experience in solution selling. As part of the sales team, the role holder can expect the support of our global client-facing research analysts and product specialists while maintaining a resource mindfulness approach. The candidate will focus on companies within the financial sector, which includes Investment Banks, Investors, Energy Companies and Governments. Strong negotiation skills, knowledge of the global energy sector – oil & gas and renewables, experience in selling market intelligence services, a consultative selling approach, product demonstrations and excellent networking skills are sought. The role holder is expected to be able to network with Managing Directors and the C-suite. Travel will be expected nationally with occasional international trips. Location for this role will be in New York City.
