About The Position

As a Senior Account Manager (Publisher) you'll be responsible for building pricing power and driving consistent revenue growth across Permutive's publisher portfolio. This role focuses on maximizing account value through strategic renewals, cross-selling, and expansion-ensuring Permutive achieves best-in-class Net Dollar Retention (NDR) and Gross Revenue Retention (GRR). This is a highly strategic, commercially minded role that requires both analytical rigor and relationship excellence. You'll partner with Customer Success, Sales, and Revenue Operations to define renewal processes, establish pricing frameworks, and embed value-driven narratives that reinforce Permutive's market leadership with our publisher partners. As a Senior Account Manager within our Customer Success Team, you'll play a pivotal role in maximizing revenue and developing strategic commercial partnerships with our key publisher clients. You will act as a trusted commercial advisor, proactively identifying and closing opportunities for platform expansion, negotiating renewals, and driving sustained growth by ensuring clients adopt our technology's full value. You must confidently communicate commercial value at every level, from daily contacts to CXO decision-makers, while consistently delivering predictable revenue and ongoing account health.

Requirements

  • Significant experience (8+ years) of working in account management, customer success, or revenue strategy within AdTech, SaaS, or digital media.
  • A strong record of driving renewals, expansions, and rate increases across enterprise or strategic publisher accounts, consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with outstanding analytical skills and proven experience in pricing strategy, forecasting, and retention modelling
  • A proven ability to lead by example across key accounts, effectively creating compelling narratives and aligning cross-functional teams to drive clear, measurable results
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, very comfortable articulating commercial value to influence senior stakeholders
  • A highly organised, data-driven approach to solving customer challenges and are consistently motivated by achieving measurable revenue and retention outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support renewals across strategic, enterprise, and key publisher accounts to ensure all renewals include a standard rate increase.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to build comprehensive renewal strategies that emphasize realized value, ROI, and future growth.
  • Improve renewal forecasting processes to better assess risks and identify growth opportunities through 2025/2026.
  • Drive proactive engagement throughout the customer lifecycle to ensure retention and long-term success.
  • You will develop a strategic and comprehensive business plan for each account, including identifying core customer requirements and mapping the benefits of Permutive's solutions to those requirements.
  • Develop and implement cross-sell strategies for products such as Routing, Prospecting, and IBM Watson integrations.
  • Lead and support expansion opportunities across key publisher accounts, growing multi-product adoption and account penetration.
  • Establish a consistent, scalable process for achieving average rate increases of 5-10% while securing every renewal.
  • Build and articulate strong value narratives to reinforce Permutive's pricing power during renewal and expansion negotiations.
  • Create enablement materials and processes that standardize renewal playbooks, pricing collateral, and customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop a plan for the accounts, to include events, seminars, and roadmap sessions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Revenue Operations to refine pricing governance and align on commercial best practices.
