About The Position

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER – FUNDS – CAYMAN ISLANDS – 0% TAX – HR334 About this opportunity Our client is a leading independent provider of fund, corporate and trust services to the financial services sector worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join their team in the Cayman Islands. Client focused and service oriented, we are looking for someone who is professionally minded, committed, and demonstrates great interpersonal skills The successful candidate will report directly to the Department Head of Funds to enable and support the team to deliver industry leading products and services to their mutual fund, trust, partnership, private equity, and digital asset clients.

Requirements

  • A professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACA, ACCA) with 8+ years’ relevant experience
  • Experience working with Private Equity, Hedge Fund and Digital Asset clients
  • Experience working with market leading accounting software, including Paxus, Allvue, Investran and Geneva
  • Professional and enthusiastic communicator
  • Relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Organised and able to distil requirements into structured output
  • Problem-solving and incident management skills
  • Leadership to help cultivate an effective and positive environment
  • Strategic thought to input into future direction and translate into actionable plans

Responsibilities

  • Provide an unparalleled customer experience through our client’s core values: responsiveness, attention to detail, personalized service, and reliability
  • Lead and guide the team to ensure service is delivered with distinction and achieves a high level of client satisfaction
  • Plan and monitor the schedule of accounting and administrative tasks to ensure all services are delivered with accuracy, timeliness, and discipline
  • Provide review of accounting files and financial statements (IFRS & US GAAP) where complex accounting is identified, a key client relationship is involved or to monitor service quality
  • Deliver valuable input during client onboarding; through engagement with the client’s legal and professional counterparties as well as reviewing and commenting on fund documents
  • Provide relationship management to other departments, both locally and in locations globally, to leverage the strengths of the group
  • Pursue an environment of growth for the department, facilitating a nurturing atmosphere of career and personal development
  • Assist business development to maintain and convert a strong pipeline of deals
  • Participate and provide input into marketing campaigns, industry articles and conferences
  • Maintain relevant and up-to-date industry, reporting and regulatory knowledge to advise clients, identify external risk and identify new products and services
  • Identify, collaborate on, and implement projects to improve their service, optimize processes and reduce risk
  • Review frequently and maintain working knowledge of the provisions of AML regulations, the organization’s IT policy and GDPR policies, all of which are relevant to handling the essential functions stated in this job description
