About the position

The Senior Account Manager - EPC at Intergraph Corporation is responsible for managing sales activities within assigned accounts in the Engineering, Fabrication, and Construction industries. This role focuses on maximizing revenue from existing accounts while also acquiring new clients. The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded, while also coordinating internal resources to achieve account performance objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all sales activities within assigned account base.
  • Maximize revenue in existing accounts and acquire new clients in the Engineering, Fabrication, and Construction industries.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Author, maintain, and socialize account plans for critical accounts.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Use Hexagon's CRM to accurately maintain quarterly forecast and pipeline.
  • Maintain a 4x pipeline and achieve consistent quarterly quota.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably in the Engineering, Fabrication, and Construction industries.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish relationships with key personnel.
  • Ability to develop and maintain account plans and forecasts.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, particularly Hexagon's CRM.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with strategic sales planning and execution.
  • Familiarity with the Engineering, Fabrication, and Construction industries.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
