About The Position

As an Senior Account Executive (AE) in Microsoft Advertising, candidate will drive search and audience ads revenue with Detroit-based automotive manufacturers, as well as grow senior agency and direct client relationships. Candidate will build and execute short-, medium- and long-term strategic growth plans. This opportunity will allow you to grow as a strategic seller, grow relationships in the Detroit advertising industry and develop critical AI skills. This position requires 4 days per week in office (client engagements count as in office). As an Senior Account Executive (AE) in Microsoft Advertising, you will enable Microsoft to better serve strategic customers by applying customer obsession to what clients care about and need, ensuring our Microsoft Advertising story is valued and understood, and acting to build successful, long-term relationships. You will develop and maintain solid customer relationships anchored on connections with C-level executives and Business and Technical Decision Makers in customers' organizations. You will also develop quality customer plans, laying out revenue and growth strategies for customer satisfaction. Your success is measured by specific success indicators focused on driving adoption, emphasizing customer experience and optimizing opportunities. This opportunity will allow you to execute with excellence to drive client success and business as well as drive both revenue and customer satisfaction across MSA's performance solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 8+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 5+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising.
  • 9+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in online media, digital advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales and Service experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 12+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 10+ years experience in sales, advertising, or marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertising.
  • Experience making recommendations to mid- to senior- level executives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead and execute MSA sales strategy & priorities to enable client growth of existing and new products.
  • Influence CMO and Chief Digital Marketing Stakeholders through Relationship Building as a compelling storyteller.
  • Lead Sales planning with the Account v-team including achieving sales targets and increasing existing budgets.
  • Expand the client's view of the importance of MSA products and concede negotiables to ensure both parties feel they are winning.
  • Lead the update of pipeline reviewing top new opportunities, identifying roadblocks, and ensuring the right resources are engaged.
  • Execute sales per expectations against pipeline, new client, and opportunity management goals.
