Whether it's strategizing for digital advertising campaigns or creating eye-catching designs for your social content calendar or website, their forward-thinking team is always raising the bar. They don't take themselves too seriously, but you wouldn't now that by looking at their work. Since their in the business of growth, they're looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to provide key account support for their talented team. This person will support multiple accounts within their portfolio of clients and provide guidance for a team of Account Executives, Account Coordinators, and Interns. They are in need of someone who is interested in purpose-driven marketing and who can be a trusted partner to their clients and agency team – garnered from rich experience, confidence in strategic oversight, leadership, and ability to build depth in client relationships. This role will report directly to either our Director of Account Services.

Requirements

  • BS or BA in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications (or related field) preferred or equivalent of 7-10 years in marketing or creative agency environment
  • Proven experience as an Account Executive in marketing or agency environment or in similar field
  • Possess excellent analytical skills, be result oriented with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent proofreading skills
  • Knowledge of marketing terms, budgets, methodology and mediums
  • Experience interacting with clients, managing timelines, and maintaining project budgets
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and independently deliver work
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • Travel may be required on a per-client-needed basis and to/from our offices in Louisville and Lexington.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Healthcare and/or Food & Beverage preferred.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; ability to learn project management software or experience with ClickUp and messaging systems, such as Slack

Responsibilities

  • Independently oversees day-to-day account management operations
  • Owns and is responsible for initiating, facilitating, and hosting all client interactions; guiding and shaping the relationship from strategic partnership perspective.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients across various accounts, as well as agency counterparts on the Creative, Digital, Web, Media and Social teams.
  • Responsible for campaign strategies, lead-generating strategies and drive creative strategy for multiple clients; and can communicate insights/tactics to meet marketing objectives.
  • Owns and demonstrates confidence and authority as the day-to-day voice of agency team and can confidently answer client/team questions.
  • Provides project management oversight on all projects including prioritizing and setting expectations on deliverables with the assistance of an Account Executive, Coordinator or Intern.
  • Develops and maintains monthly marketing plans and billing schedules to meet client marketing objectives, working closely with clients to create additional/improved lead generating opportunities.
  • Anticipates client needs and proactively recommends solutions.
  • Measures and continually identifies ways to improve tactical efforts across all platforms, including upselling new services to existing clients.
  • Provides detailed reporting and budget oversight for clients.
  • Responsible for the adherence of all client scopes of work and contracts.
  • Consistently collaborate with team members throughout the work process – including multiple channel management - to foster, facilitate and consistently deliver great work that is on strategy, on time, and on budget.
  • Manages and is responsible for the development of any direct reports; as applicable an Intern(s), Account Coordinator(s), or Account Executive(s).
  • Willing to go above and beyond to delight our clients and deliver excellent customer service.
