BibliU is an award-winning education company that provides Day 1 access to affordable course materials, making learning more equitable and effective, in addition to providing campus store management. They partner with over 3,000 educational publishers, including Pearson, Oxford University Press, and Wiley, to offer a wide range of high-quality content to students. Their platform provides rich engagement data to academics and allows students to find information faster. Founded in late-2015, BibliU is a rapidly growing company transforming the way students and educators access and interact with learning materials. Their revenue has grown rapidly, with 90% CAGR in the last three years to $100m per year. Their last significant fundraise was $21m in a Series B funding round. In late 2023, they acquired Texas Book Company (now ‘BibliU Campus’) to deliver a more complete solution of products and services to higher ed students, faculty and administrators across the US. Since the addition of BibliU Campus, their US organic growth has exploded and is now 90% of their business. They are expanding the team to meet new market potential. The Senior Account Executive will manage the West US regional territory, be responsible for assigned quarterly and annual New business targets, and build 10x pipeline coverage to quota by collaborating with SDR and through direct efforts. This role will manage active opportunities through all stages of the sales process.

Requirements

  • 5+ years enterprise sales experience in higher education (high preference for experience in edtech, bookstore, or publisher sales)
  • Proven track record as a top performer
  • A creative and consultative selling approach and ability to present to groups with executives & many stakeholders
  • Has successfully implemented a sales methodology, applying it rigorously to drive results in a way that will distinguish the company from its competitors
  • Strong relationship-builder with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Create an annual and quarterly territory plan to achieve the assigned quota
  • Work with Lean Gen and Marketing teams on strategies for assigned territory
  • Attend Marketing events and plan in-person prospect visits to build pipeline
  • Tailor and conduct highly professional and engaging sales presentations
  • Build relationships with current customers to generate pipeline and advance deals
  • Maintain an accurate sales forecast
  • Collaborate with RFP team to assess and respond to tenders in the territory
  • Provide regular feedback to Marketing and Product on customer and industry trends to improve messaging, positioning, and our product/service offerings
