About The Position

We're seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Senior Account Executive position on our Public Relations team. As an Sr. Account Executive, you’ll work closely with REQ’s PR team, a division of Agital to deliver top results to our clients. The Sr. AE is responsible for serving as a key contact on REQ PR client accounts. The Sr. AE will oversee and support the infrastructure for accounts within the team structure and be instrumental to the execution of all core elements of the clients' PR program. Requirements

  • BA or BS undergraduate degree in public relations, journalism, communications, marketing or similar field.
  • 3+ years of business experience, preferably in technology marketing and/or PR.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Google docs.
  • Experience managing social media platforms.
  • Possesses a great deal of scrappiness, initiative, proactivity, and a drive for high performance and a sincere interest in the success and well-being of clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support the infrastructure for accounts within the team structure.
  • Execute all core elements of the clients' PR program.
  • Possess excellent writing skills to tackle in-depth topics succinctly and with impact.
  • Establish relationships with journalists, analysts, and influencers through media relations and influencer relations experience.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience with social media, community building, content marketing, and inbound marketing.
  • Excel at team communication, prioritization, multi-tasking, and accountability.
  • Act as the day-to-day client contact, fostering client-agency relationships and trust.
  • Plan and implement account activities such as special events, media events, media relations, social media, and program implementation.
  • Build understanding and knowledge of clients' business and competitive environments to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Contribute to the company's and PR team's marketing and business development activities.
