5W is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join 5W’s Consumer Lifestyle practice. The ideal individual will have worked with Consumer & Lifestyle - based clients within an agency setting, is an expert at pitching and influencer relations, and possesses superior account and time management skills. Requirements

S/B.A in Public Relations or related field
3-4 years of PR agency experience – with Consumer & Lifestyle clients preferred
The ability to drive a robust volume of meaningful, top-tier placements
Excellent written and verbal skills
Creative and energetic personality!

Responsibilities

Create and develop media materials – press kits, press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, bios, case studies and backgrounders
Develop pro-active pitch ideas for clients based on their industry, current trends and various announcements
Drive consistent and impactful media results across your portfolio of clients
Develop and nurture relationships with influential members of the Consumer media and industry to develop placements
Develop and manage organic and paid influencer campaigns for both organic and paid programs
Monitor and engage with relevant influencer social media accounts
Contribute to strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines as needed
Monitor media and seek out speaking opportunities for clients as “experts in their field”, as needed
Provide strong guidance and leadership to junior-level staff
Daily client interaction to update, report on and discuss media relations
Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients
Additional research, duties and projects as required
