Requirements

  • At least two years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including marketing, advertising, media and publishing
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Proven ability to manage multiple small or medium-sized projects simultaneously
  • Ability to develop communications plans, implement communications tactics and impart knowledge to more junior team members
  • Strong research, writing, editing and client interaction skills, perform well under pressure and be a team player

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to creation of communications plans that meet client objectives
  • Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence
  • Oversee integrated projects across various sectors including paid media, creative, and others
  • Build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content
  • Supervise staff junior to you by motivating, coaching and consistently providing feedback
  • Help plan and coordinate traditional and social media outreach programs
  • Aid in new business process including idea contribution, research and proposal preparation
  • Commit to continuous learning; set and pursue stretch goals
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values and Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
