About The Position

The Lede Company, a full-service communication, strategy, and social impact consulting firm, specializing in corporate, brand, entertainment, and nonprofit sectors, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join the team in our New York office. The SAE will play an integral role in supporting accounts for a wide variety of lifestyle, beauty and wellness clients. The SAE will generally support 5 - 8 retainer accounts and projects. The Lede Company is a full-service strategy, communications and social impact consulting firm, specializing in corporate, entertainment, brand and nonprofit sectors. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations or Marketing
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Business acumen with the ability to communicate across departments within the organization
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and pitch compelling stories and narratives on behalf of clients to secure consistent product-centric coverage and overall develop strong brand awareness
  • Lead client programs and campaigns from planning to execution
  • Write, proof and edit a variety of PR and marketing materials, while contributing as a team member on client accounts
  • Oversee coordinators and assistants to review client agendas, recap reports and clips, while also mentoring junior staff
  • Communicate with clients regularly and build a relationship with them, while helping handle day-to-day client tasks
  • Help develop and ideate client PR strategies such as client messaging, media + influencer targets, creative seeding ideas, etc.
  • Work alongside partner teams within the agency as well as client partner agencies
  • Support onsite at events, coordinate logistics at all stages of programming, and coordinate retail promotions
  • Contribute to monthly, project and/or event reporting and recaps across all clients
