Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-time experience, agency preferred.
  • A proven track record in Influencer Relations and Earned Media. You know how to negotiate with influencers and creators and pitch the national desks. Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without breaking a sweat.
  • Strong experience in influencer relations with building influencer lists and relationships with content creators
  • Drafting social media influencer briefs, ensuring quality and alignment with client messaging
  • Client relations, understanding their goals across influencer and earned media disciplines
  • Tracking KPIs and metrics reporting for influencer and earned media efforts
  • Proven experience in pitching stories to top-tier media outlets
  • Experience in writing and managing client programs and reports
  • You’re a "jack-of-all-trades" with experience in Food & Beverage, Travel, Healthcare, Consumer, and Real Estate.
  • You have a solid grasp of tools like: Cision or Meltwater Influencer tools like Sprout Social Influencer Marketing (formerly Tagger), CreatorIQ, Julius, etc. Mastery of the Microsoft Office and Google suites Tracking and measurement tools
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or public relations and a total understanding of public relations principles.

  • Experience with influencer, creator or talent contracting is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Drive high-impact programs that blend traditional earned media with cutting-edge influencer relations.
  • Develop everything from influencer briefs to media pitches and press releases.
  • Build a deep understanding of your clients' business environments, proactively flagging the "next big thing" before the competition does.
  • Newsjacking and proactively identifying and drafting timely earned, influencer and social opportunities tied to cultural trends
  • Understanding and staying on top of the social media landscape, including major social media news, changing algorithms, trends and trending topics
  • Be ready to hit the road for occasional client travel when the mission calls for a personal touch.
