About The Position

The Sr. Accommodation Consultant plays a critical role in fostering an inclusive and compliant workplace by managing the interactive process under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)/Pregnancy Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) and related legislation. This role evaluates, coordinates, and implements workplace accommodations, working closely with employees, managers, and healthcare providers to support both individual needs and organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Social Work, Business Administrations, Disability Studies, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, disability case management, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
  • Proficiency with digital tools and comfort navigating multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the interactive process to identify effective workplace accommodations.
  • Review medical documentation and collaborate with employees, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders to assess accommodation needs.
  • Provide end-to-end case management, ensuring timely and compliant, and empathetic resolution of accommodation requests.
  • Educate employees and managers on ADA rights and responsibilities, return-to-work processes, and complex accommodation scenarios.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to internal service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards.
  • Partner cross-functionally to align accommodations with business needs and legal requirements.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and ensure timely follow-up on all case activities.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and a sense of urgency in response to evolving business needs
