About The Position

The Senior Access Associate at Rochester Regional Health is responsible for leading a team of access associates to ensure high-quality customer care standards. Requirements

• Three years of related work experience in a healthcare or customer service setting preferred.
• Ability to lead and take direction effectively.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge, expertise, and guidance to a team of access associates.
• Assist in training new employees and serve as a resource for resolving complex issues.
• Manage incoming calls and provide necessary information to patients and their representatives.
• Greet patients and provide direction as needed, including scheduling appointments.
• Interview patients to obtain necessary information for registration.
• Complete the registration process for patients and verify insurance eligibility and coverage.
• Collect and process co-payments, deductibles, and other payments, providing cost estimates when applicable.
• Review charges for completeness and accuracy.
