About The Position

The Senior Specialist Quality Engineering position at L3Harris Technologies is a pivotal role focused on ensuring quality assurance for the Microelectronics Division, particularly in support of a new advanced packaging and back-end-of-line wafer fabrication effort. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality plans, analyzing quality performance metrics, and leading quality assurance processes as the business expands.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related STEM field
• Prior semiconductor, advanced packaging, or microelectronics experience
• A minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, 4 years with a graduate degree or 10+ years of prior related experience with no degree
• Ability to Obtain Security Clearance required for role: Top Secret / SCI w/Poly

Nice To Haves

• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
• ASQ certification in one or more of the following: Quality Engineer, Process Quality, Process Analyst, Reliability Engineer
• Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve quality plans for all production phases across all product lines
• Collect, analyze and report quality performance metrics
• Perform statistical process control analyses and improve product quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure world-class quality standards are achieved and maintained
• Lead the timely execution, analysis and closeout of Non-Conformance Reports
• Coach and develop junior team members on quality assurance processes and procedures
• Stay current on corporate, regulatory and industry standards regarding quality and ensure compliance
• Work with Supplier Quality and Supply Chain to develop and align Tier 1 supply base
• Perform quality audits at key semiconductor foundry partner(s)
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions
