About The Position

The candidate(s) selected will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in Chandler Fab Subfab areas. The technician position is responsible for effectively executing tasks that are required to maintain primarily the toolsets within one of the following groups: Subfab Leak repair 5S Scrubber PM The tasks include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic and mechanical systems, scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and various other activities relevant to the success of the area. The desired candidate should have a solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems, and demonstrate problem solving skills. The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied. The desired candidate will be required to complete documentation and train others. The desired candidate will be required to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills, stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours), and be physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds. The position requires working compressed shifts, days or nights.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems
• Demonstrate problem solving skills
• Ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied
• Effectively communicate using written and verbal skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours)
• Physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work compressed shifts, days or nights.

Nice To Haves

• AA, AS, AAS, in electronics or other industrial engineering related discipline is preferred. Education along with experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
• Mechanical or technical experience is preferred but not required.
