About The Position

Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate and dedicated adjunct faculty for the College of Engineering and Technology. The faculty will engage and mentor students, preparing them for the evolving fields of IT and Engineering. Faculty members are expected to be energetic advisors committed to the academic, spiritual, and personal growth of students. The College offers part-time, face-to-face instruction opportunities at the Phoenix campus, specifically for the Summer 2025 Semester, focusing on the Manufacturing Specialist Foundation Course. This course will cover essential knowledge and skills necessary for a manufacturing specialist, including workplace safety, Standard Operating Procedures, structured workflows, process monitoring, and analysis of the wafer fabrication process.

Requirements

  • PhD or Master's in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with 3-5 years of industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing (preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with 5-7 years of industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing (minimum)

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
