Teledyne Scientific Company (TSC) has an opening for a full time (40 hours a week) summer intern position in the Fab Operations group in the Electronics Division starting May/June 2026 until August/September 2026.

Requirements

  • Electrical engineering undergraduate students with some previous hands-on cleanroom experience
  • Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous knowledge and experience using cleanroom tools (lithography, deposition, etch…)
  • Experience with cleanroom metrology tools (profilometry, scanning electron microscope, ellipsometry…)
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor devices (bipolar and field effect transistors) and process flows is a plus
  • Basic understanding of design of experiments and statistical process control is a plus
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • Good communication skills and inquisitive mind

Responsibilities

  • Work with team members in a cleanroom environment to develop and characterize advanced semiconductor fabrication processes
  • Assist in the design of experiments for cleanroom process module development
  • Perform metrology using standard cleanroom characterization tools and assist in data analysis
  • Assist in the development of statistical process controls for cleanroom process modules
  • Document and report on development efforts
