About The Position

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to support its manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position involves the preventative and corrective maintenance of electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment in a Class 1 cleanroom. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance analog semiconductors.

Requirements

• Associates degree in electronics or mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience.
• 3+ years maintaining equipment in one or more Wafer Fab functional areas such as Diffusion/LPCVD, EPI, Etch, Thin Films, Implant, Photolithography, and CMP.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Strong electronic skills.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Work in a Class 1 cleanroom environment.
• Support manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment is functioning optimally.
