The position involves maintaining and sustaining manufacturing equipment to improve equipment availability and reliability. The role requires preparing and scheduling preventive maintenance work, which includes pouring and changing chemicals as needed to support chemical technicians, as well as replacing parts to meet manufacturing requirements. The technician will assist with equipment repair, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and installations, while adhering to safety guidelines. Additionally, the technician will train less experienced maintenance technicians in standardizing troubleshooting techniques as necessary. Close collaboration with manufacturing personnel and equipment/process engineers is essential for making adjustments related to equipment repair, preventive maintenance, chemical pouring, and troubleshooting procedures. The role also involves daily hands-on work with tools in areas such as wet etch, dry etch, photo, and metrology, and may require overnight support of wafer fab facilities equipment as needed. Following all safety and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedure guidelines is mandatory.
