About The Position
Job Location: SNP Cazenovia - Cazenovia , NY 13035 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00 Hourly Department: Transportation Reports To: Transportation Manager Position Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Operate vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership. May also pick-up new equipment from a John Deere factory. May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures. Ensure safe and timely delivery of equipment to various locations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA, and company policy. Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies Start and End your day at home.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL- A).
- 1+ year of experience pulling a gooseneck, tilt, or utility trailer.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to operate and maneuver large vehicles safely, including large oversized agricultural machines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a semi-truck operator preferred experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
