Primary responsibility is to pull out empty and back in full trailers of raw product, waste trailers, and rock trailers into the truck dump in a safe and efficient manner to ensure an even product flow into the plant. This position is a seasonal position which runs from approximately July 1st, 2025 thru December 1st, 2025.

Requirements

• Must have the ability and knowledge to pass the Lakeside Foods Forklift Training Program.
• Learn and follow the approved safe practices and procedures which apply to position.
• Become familiar with, observe and follow all Lakeside Foods' rules and established policies for Safety, Health and Security.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to accurately fill out routine reports, scale tickets and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Carry out responsibilities and exercise prudent judgment in decision making.

Responsibilities

• Perform a thorough inspection of the yard tractor and/or semi-tractor and record on daily log.
• Remove empty and replace full trailers of raw production onto the truck dump.
• Weigh and scale out full and empty raw product trailers.
• Drive in accordance with all traffic regulations.
• Operate the truck dump as needed.
• Load/unload waste trailers properly as needed.
• Assist in the outside operation of the production as directed by the Outside Mechanic/Supervisor.
• Maintain semi-tractor and yard tractor in a clean and orderly manner.
• Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
• Notify supervisor immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered.
• Any other duties as assigned by Lakeside Management.
