The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in search engine marketing (SEM) and a proven track record of managing and optimizing paid Google Search campaigns. This role will be dedicated to developing and executing comprehensive paid search strategies to drive traffic, enhance visibility, and support the university's marketing goals. The SEM Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing advanced SEM strategies to improve the performance of paid Google Ads campaigns and drive targeted traffic to the university's site. This includes overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of Google Ads campaigns, including search, display, and video ads. The specialist will monitor and analyze campaign performance to ensure alignment with KPIs and budget. In addition, the role requires conducting in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-value keywords and opportunities for optimization. The SEM Specialist will develop keyword strategies that maximize ad performance and conversions, as well as create compelling ad copy and visuals. Collaboration with the design department and content specialists is essential to enhance ad quality, while also possessing the skills to independently create effective ad copy and visuals. Utilizing tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other SEM platforms, the SEM Specialist will track performance, generate reports, and provide actionable insights. The role also involves managing SEM budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and maximizing ROI on ad spend. Staying updated on the latest SEM trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices is crucial to enhance paid search strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
