About The Position

The Selling District Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a sales territory in addition to learning the sales process, product knowledge, and company training methods. Once the Selling DSM meets agreed upon goals for new territory growth, you will be responsible and assume the full role of District Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
  • Prior B2B sales experience
  • Ability to train and coach direct sales representatives during the selling process
  • Experience in territory and district management
  • Strong selling, coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales goals through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and upselling
  • Build brand awareness within your assigned territory
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, demonstrating the value and capabilities of our products
  • Implement and sell innovative customer programs designed to create unique value
  • Maintain/build sales relationships with existing and new customers
  • Complete paperwork necessary to fulfill position responsibilities
  • Promote company marketing and promotional programs
