About The Position

The Selling and Service Assistant (SSA) at Hermès Meatpacking Boutique is responsible for providing clerical support for both front and back of house operations. This role involves processing transactions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting the sales team in a fast-paced luxury environment. The SSA will work collaboratively with the sales team and management to enhance the client experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a luxury environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with POS and/or cash handling preferred.
• Customer service oriented.
• Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to handle difficult situations with grace and composure.
• Ability to lift between 0-25 lbs. without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record point of sales transactions at the register, including processing sales, sends, repairs, and assisting in opening and closing procedures.
• Provide high levels of service to clients, including prompt greetings, assistance with questions, and wrapping and packaging at point of sale.
• Support the sales team with the selling process, including hanging merchandising, returning merchandise to the floor, and retrieving stock.
• Organize and prioritize the work station and selling floor to support sales efforts, ensuring all items are stocked and maintaining merchandising standards.
• Assist in stockroom operations, including replenishment, tagging, and inventory preparation.
• Support the After Sales area as needed, including logging repairs and maintaining client records.
• Record accurate and detailed CRM files for purchase history and sales analysis.
• Answer phones in a timely manner while providing friendly customer service.

Benefits

• Hourly range of $22.40 - $27.12 based on experience and location.
