The Seller Success Associate supports the growth of Macy's Marketplace. This entrepreneurial role requires strong communication and analytical skills to optimize strategic partnerships with new Marketplace sellers at Macy's and Bloomingdale's. The Associate reports to the Senior Manager, Seller Management and collaborates closely with Digital, Merchandising, and other cross-functional partners across the enterprise to execute the Marketplace growth strategy. Externally, this role is responsible for optimizing seller performance by leveraging data to drive smart decision-making, developing new programs to enhance seller performance, and resolving any obstacles sellers encounter.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • Ability to leverage data to drive smart decision-making.
  • Proven experience working with multiple departments.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Capability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Strong skills in sales and facilitating partnerships.
  • Understanding of digital commerce and marketplace platforms.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize seller performance and continuously improve Marketplace account management processes.
  • Assist in defining, executing, and measuring how Macy's Inc. can best serve the seller community.
  • Help execute the category, curation, and merchandising strategy for the Marketplace by collaborating cross-functionally with merchandising and externally with the seller community.
  • Partner with Digital Analytics and Technology teams to develop and implement new programs that enhance seller satisfaction and help Macy's achieve team goals.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of the Macy's brand and customer base to ensure the Marketplace aligns with both.
  • Handle administrative tasks as needed to support Marketplace growth.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
