About The Position

Join the growing Patient Financial Services team as a Self-Pay Analyst In this role you will analyze self-pay account data to identify trends, resolve issues, and improve payment outcomes. This role supports revenue cycle optimization through collaboration, workflow monitoring, and process improvement initiatives. To be successful in this role you will need strong analytical skills, the ability to clearly communicate, and have solid knowledge of medical billing and coding. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health care or business-related field preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in health information management or collections management with customer service required
  • Experience with physician practice management software required.
  • Epic experience preferred.
  • Professional use of financial reporting and use of spreadsheets
  • Highly skilled in prioritizing, organizing, planning, and communicating
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with excellent Excel and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Analyze self-pay and bad debt trends and identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor collection trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Complete self-pay audits and research assignments.
  • Maintain current knowledge of self-pay policies, contracts, and regulatory billing requirements, including credits/refunds.
  • Partner with other PFS teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
