ECU Department of ITCS Client Engagement and Support: Technology Support Center is currently seeking a Pirate Techs TSC Student Technician. The student technician is responsible for assisting ECU students, faculty, and staff with walk-in technology and Pirate ID account support. Our student techs provide assistance with installing/troubleshooting ECU-supported software, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, identifying and removing malware, connecting/troubleshooting access to ECU's wired and wireless networks, and Pirate ID / MFA support.

  • Assist ECU students, faculty, and staff with walk-in technology support.
  • Provide assistance with installing and troubleshooting ECU-supported software.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Identify and remove malware from systems.
  • Connect and troubleshoot access to ECU's wired and wireless networks.
  • Support Pirate ID and MFA issues.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 and macOS.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Reliability and strong team player attitude.
  • Motivated and able to take direction.
  • Experience in a technology support role.
  • Strong communication skills.
