Assist individuals with brain injury, intellectual disabilities, and other neurological disabilities in achieving a challenging, stimulating, dignified life by serving as an advocate and liaison for and on behalf of individuals’ rights and benefits. Provide supervision, training, and assistance in accomplishing activities of daily living, which includes, but is not limited to, self-care skills, social skills, recreation skills, community skills, and domestic skills for a 64 year old female. Assistants/Companions Wanted: Newly retired, professional woman with a physical disability sseeking assistance and companionship to maintain her independence, pursue her interests, and ssupport her community connections. Part-time positions available for several assistants. Interests include: Genealogy Preserving/Cataloging old photos Theater/Arts/Literature Writing Gardening Cooking Traveling/Exploring 5-7-Hour Shifts to Be Shared by a Few Assistants: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday – between 8:30am and 4pm. Flexibility is a must. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – between 3pm and 10pm. Flexibility is key. Every other Saturday – 5-7 hours between 9am and 10pm. This shift would alternate between morning/mid-afternoon one Saturday and mid-afternoon/evening the next scheduled Saturday (2 weeks apart). Every other Sunday morning/mid-afternoon between 9am and 3pm
