Oversee self-checkout units to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist customers with scanning, weighing, bagging, and paying for their items.
Anticipate and resolve issues that may arise during the checkout process.
Monitor scanning activity for accuracy and assist with payment issues.
Invite customers to use self-checkout lanes, especially during busy times.
Maintain knowledge of weekly promotions and product locations in the store.
Ensure self-checkout areas are clean and orderly.
Thank customers as they leave the self-checkout area.

Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
1-2 years of cashier experience preferred in a retail or customer service environment.
Positive attitude and ability to interact well with customers.
Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers and scanners.
Dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to lift/carry products weighing up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring a force of up to 35 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers, including cash handling.
