About The Position

SELF CHECK-OUT AMBASSADOR (attendent) Expectations/Requirements: Assist customers on how to use SCO properly including use of the hand scanner for a Fast and Easy checkout experience React quick and assist customer needs to create a Fast and Easy checkout experience Show customers how to use the hand scanner for a Fast and Easy checkout experience Monitor SCO as customers ring up groceries. Watch for BOB and proper scanning by the customers. Ensure the customer properly scans items and places them in the bag or appropriately places in the bagging area if no bag is needed When assisting a customer (approving a void, completing an age verification, etc.), always engage with the customer and make the customer aware, even when using the Mobile Attendant. Every approval should come with a conversation Maintain a clean and stocked SCO area (bag supplies, receipt paper, trash, hand baskets, carts, etc) SCO lanes are just like traditional lanes and customers expect to be assisted just as quickly as they would if there were a cashier scanning their groceries The SCO Ambassador should move through the SCOs as follows: Open Availablitity Prefered (including days/nights/weekends/holidays) willing to work with the "right" person Must be able to stand/walk for lengthy periods or times
