About The Position

The Selenium Java Automation + API Test Lead at Infosys is responsible for leading quality assurance efforts, focusing on automation testing using Selenium and API testing. This role involves conducting requirement analysis, defining test strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. The Test Lead will collaborate with a talented team to create innovative solutions that meet client needs while fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required; or three years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Selenium automation testing.
• Experience with RESTful Web Services and API Test Automation using tools like Axios/Jest.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Typescript, XML, SQL, and HTML.
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and GitHub.
• Knowledge of the full SDLC lifecycle and Lean/Agile development methodologies.

Nice To Haves

• Strong knowledge in TOSCA automation.
• Hands-on experience in developing automation scripts for Web UI, Web Services, and APIs.
• Experience in application development and automation framework development using Java.
• Understanding of estimation methodologies and quality processes.
• Strong analytical, articulation, and client interfacing skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a validation and quality assurance expert to review existing systems' functionality.
• Conduct requirement analysis and define test strategy and design.
• Lead execution of test plans to ensure superior outcomes.
• Design optimal test environments to simulate real-time scenarios.
• Collaborate with team members to create high-quality, defect-free solutions.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and streamline processes.
• Translate business requirements into test strategies and test cases.
