Excellence is in the details! Anchor Glass in an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Summary Selector Packer in a Glass Container manufacturing environment. Must be able to work a 7-day shift rotation including Sundays which are paid at time and a half. Rotation is 7A-3P to 11P-7A and then 3P-11P. Starting rate of pay is $25.00 per hour. Must have at least one (1) year experience in a manufacturing environment. MAIN POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Visually examines and/or gauges glassware and packs in cartons or attends automatic equipment to insure conformance to specification. Holds ware back or stops the line if not visually inspecting the ware. Responsible for unjamming and restarting all automatic inspection equipment. Places ware off or on lines as necessary. Un-jams equipment such as conveying lines, inspection equipment and case packers as necessary. Prepares paperwork such as production tally sheets. Performs other work as assigned by the Supervisor such as cleaning, sweeping, etc. and may have to work in other departments as needed.
