About The Position

This internship program at Tree Top offers Selah High School students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various career pathways through an 11-week job shadowing experience. The program is structured into four sessions, covering Human Resources, Research & Development, Production, and Quality Assurance, allowing students to learn about the company's operations, safety protocols, and product development processes.

Requirements

• Must be a Selah High School student.
• Interest in food manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
• Willingness to learn and participate in hands-on activities.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a lab or food production environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in onboarding and safety training sessions.
• Shadow Human Resources to learn about company policies and safety protocols.
• Engage in lab work to develop new apple sauce flavors.
• Participate in mock launches of new products and provide feedback.
• Shadow various departments including QA, Production, and Management to understand operational compliance and documentation processes.
• Conduct micro/analytical testing in the Quality Assurance Lab and prepare reports.
