About The Position

The University of Rochester is seeking a part-time worker for the Food & Nutrition Services Cafeteria. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Sets up food for serving and serves food according to prescribed manner.
• Cleans utensils and equipment before, during, and after serving.
• Performs limited food preparation or final processing of simple salads, desserts, and vegetables.
• Maintains and cleans beverage containers and condiment areas.
• Checks for replacement of deleted or shortage of items and notifies proper personnel.
• Washes and sanitizes dining room tables and chairs.
• Maintains proper housekeeping, sanitation, and safety standards in work area.
• Reports defective equipment to the immediate supervisor.
• May occasionally act as fill-in cashier, handling cash and making change.
• Performs other food service duties as required.
