Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 12 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 10 years of experience with Master's degree, 8 years of experience with PhD.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate engineering teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.
  • Demonstrated experience defining and managing requirements of large-scale systems, including decomposition and allocation to various system segments.
  • Familiarity with EVMS with experience managing budget and schedule as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).
  • Risk and Opportunity Management experience.
  • Experience in systems development, integration, and test.
  • Demonstrated Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross-functionally.
  • Current active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w. Polygraph prior to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Current active DoD TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • Master's Degree or higher in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics), preferably an Engineering degree.
  • Proven performance as an Engineering Leader in all phases of acquisition, design, integration, and execution.
  • Working knowledge and/or experience across engineering disciplines.
  • Experience working across the systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Experience developing system requirements, verification plans, and reports.
  • Experience with MBSE and Requirements management tools, such as Cameo and DOORS.
  • Familiarity with Project & Task Management tools: Jira or Confluence.
  • Familiarity with some subset of specialty engineering tools, such as: MATLAB or COMSOL (MODSIM); Docker, Kubernetes, Visual Studio, Python (SW Engineering); Elasticsearch, Grafana, Tableau (Data and visualization); or Cadence Virtuoso, Keysight ADWS, ANSYS HFSS (Hardware Design).

Responsibilities

  • IPT-Level role, Leader of SEIT Team.
  • Partner in technical planning and in areas including workforce planning and staffing.
  • Spearhead and direct technical and engineering planning and execution of IPT activities by all SEIT staff.
  • Support writing technical specifications, Statements of Work (SOWs), design reviews (e.g. SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR).
  • Serve as the cost account manager for the systems engineering responsibilities.
  • Support, develop, and task engineering staff.
  • Develop engineering processes and provide resources to meet program needs.
  • Perform technical work on programs.
