About the position

This role carries out market intelligence activities for the anticipation of future Segment trends and technological evolutions, including insights on competition and customers need and provides actionable insights and intelligence to support the development and marketing of systems. The position involves conducting comprehensive market research to identify system trends, opportunities, and threats, analyzing customer needs and preferences to inform system development and marketing strategies, and monitoring competitive activities and market dynamics to assess ST's positioning against competition. Additionally, the role includes gathering and managing data from various sources, developing and maintaining databases and dashboards to track key market indicators and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify system trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Analyze customer needs and preferences to inform system development and marketing strategies, and identify future needs.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activities and market dynamics, assessing ST positioning vs. competition.
  • Gather and manage data from various sources, including market reports, competitors' websites and job postings, customer feedback, sales data.
  • Develop and maintain databases and dashboards to track key market indicators and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science/Electronics (preferred).
  • 8 to 12 years of experience.
  • Experience with Wireless Technologies, Bluetooth, Wearable Technology is preferred.
  • Strong ability to interpret complex data and generate insights.
  • Proficiency in market research methodologies.
  • Experience in segment market intelligence analysis, based on customer and industry insights.
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Data Visualization software).
  • Strong ability to convey complex information clearly, with strong presentation skills.
