About The Position

Lutheran Hospital is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their RediMed urgent care clinics. The role involves providing urgent and non-urgent healthcare services to patients of all ages, focusing on a variety of acute and chronic conditions, including occupational health services. The position offers a collaborative work environment with a strong team of providers and the opportunity to work in busy walk-in clinics that are open seven days a week.

Requirements

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Experience in critical care or emergency department (ED) is preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent and non-urgent healthcare services to patients of all ages.
• Evaluate and treat a wide variety of acute and chronic conditions.
• Manage workers' compensation injuries within the scope of practice.
• Perform fracture stabilization, laceration repair, foreign body removal, and minor illness management.
• Conduct DOT, post-offer, OSHA mandated, and sports physicals.
• Order labs and diagnostic procedures, and interpret data from EKGs, X-Rays, and lab studies.
