About The Position

Looking for caregivers to join our home care family. We have specific needs in Johns Island, Meggett, West Ashley, and surrounding areas. Several cases are available to try to find a match, including: every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday 7-7, totaling 24 hours) in Johns Island; Monday, Wednesday, Friday for 3 hours (flexible) in West Ashley; and full-time Monday to Friday in Meggett, among others.

Requirements

• High school graduate or G.E.D certificate.
• At least six months experience as a Caregiver or CNA/HHA in healthcare (in homes or facilities).

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, nail/skin care, back care, foot care, shampoo, oral hygiene, ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercise, and safe use of equipment and assistive devices.
• Assist with toileting, commode, incontinent care, meal planning, preparation, and assistance with feeding.
• Provide companionship and respite services for family members.
• Perform homemaking activities such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Assist with medication services under RN supervision and delegation.
• Perform safe transfers and mobility assistance, possibly using a hoyer lift.
