Requirements

  • Bachelors in Agronomy or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years or more of relevant experience with sales support.
  • Understanding of branch operations, product services and equipment.
  • Proficient in computer software programs (including Microsoft Office).
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Develop trusted relationships with team members, customers, and key stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching to crop consultants on seed for our grower customers.
  • Provide agronomic advice for products and services to staff and customers.
  • Develop and facilitate agronomic training programs and materials on existing and emerging products, technologies, and sales strategies.
  • Provide sales analytics and interpret market intelligence and market research.
  • Ability to assess risk and exercise sound judgement in decision making.
  • Assist in the development of sales, capital budgets, and forecasts.
  • Analyze customer requirements and illustrate how Nutrien’s products and services can provide value and support to the customer.
  • Support the seed sales team with administrative activities so they can focus on selling and closing deals.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications, SAP ERP.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence.
