About The Position

The Security personnel will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facility, employees, residents, and guests. Description of responsibilities: Conduct safety and security inspections Patrol community buildings and grounds as scheduled Report irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and unsecure doors Inspect and report all dangerous conditions and any damaged or defective equipment, machinery, and property Investigate and report unlawful activity, safety hazards, incidents and suspicious occurrences Respond to all security calls and complaints; take appropriate action Secure community buildings according to policy and community expectations Notify police or fire department in situations where their emergency response is needed Sound fire alarm in the case of fire emergency Complete housekeeping duties as assigned Answer Community phones Perform other duties as assigned Who Is Vantage Point Retirement Living? Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year job related experience preferred
  • Interest in working with a senior population
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Good judgement, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Must be able to work independently
