About The Position

FT, Security (Community Response Team)9pm-7:30am, rotating weekends Join a team that makes a difference every day. Bishop Gadsden, located on 134 acres of lush marshlands and majestic oaks just 10 minutes from downtown Charleston, is seeking a dedicated and dependable Community Response Team Member to help ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, staff, and guests. What You’ll Do: As a Community Response Team Member, you’ll be a visible and reassuring presence across our campus, responding to emergencies, conducting safety checks, and supporting our residents with care and professionalism.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 21
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Prior experience in security or safety roles (preferred)
• Valid SC driver’s license
• Ability to complete Advanced First Aid certification within 90 days
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Patrolling community buildings and grounds regularly
• Responding to emergency calls and coordinating with EMS
• Completing incident reports and maintaining safety logs
• Assisting with after-hours deliveries and resident support
• Conducting fire drills and safety inspections
• Managing wildlife control when necessary
