About The Position
The security position at Five Star Senior Living is a vital role within the Facilities Team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the senior living community. This position involves maintaining a visible presence to foster a sense of safety among residents and visitors, operating communication equipment, monitoring video feeds, and patrolling the premises to ensure security protocols are followed. The role also includes responding to resident needs, maintaining emergency contact lists, and assisting emergency personnel when necessary.
